Sticker Tutorial

Hey Guys Got a lot of questions making my printables into stickers. This page has info. on my favorite products with links. And my review / tips on different ways of making stickers!

 Label Paper

I would also invest in the label paper. Its really preference! If you do I would suggest you know your printer or print a proof sheet on regular printer paper before printing on the label paper. It always sucks to print a bad sheet! Colors and sizes might not always be what you expected and you don't want to waist! I now use label paper with my silhouette machine! Ive tried a few Ill like the ones i liked below! Label paper is great because you can turn any image from the internet or that you create into a sticker! They have both glossy and matte,
I always suggest purchasing a 100pk for $10-$15 over a $5.00 pack with only 25pages because you get WAY more for your money!

Printing my Printables on Label Paper Tutorial

So to print my Printables its pretty easy! You must have google dropbox which is powered by google and just makes sure that everything you download is safe secure and also allows me to save all my printables on the cloud!
Once your signed in your your dropbox account just click download the file and then once it has downloaded open your downloaded files or a where ever the download was saved and then click file,
then print. And WA-LAH :)

Printer / Ink Suggestions

I use the HP Envy 4500 I when i upgrade I will be upgrading to the newest HP Envy! I love this printer its quality and I love HP's InstaInk! Its a Ink subscription, you pay $3.99-$9.99 monthly and you get 50-300 pages. if you print 1 link or a pull colored picture that covers the hole page each page only counts for 1 page. This is perfect for me because Most of my printed pages are full color free printables or sticker pages, so I save money instead of buying $50 in every two months I pay $10 a month.
I use ALOT of color ink so this subscription works great for me! I print 200-300 pages a month and your extra pages roll over so if you don't use them all you can use them later. Also if you go over its like $ .10- $ .5 cent each page! WAAAY cheaper than going to kinkos! And when I know i'm going on vacation for my shop or wont be home alot I change my subscription to the lowest plan with no upgrade or downgrade fees. Its perfect for people like me who have a busy summer life, we travel, go to the YMCA, movies, parks, and more, where rarely in the house so I don't need to print as much!
The Envy is an inkjet so if your printing in bulk you might want to invest in a laserjet printer but either way I still suggest the HP brand! Ive had 3 Hp printers, 1 Epson ( no complaints about it just prefer HP) , and 1 cannon. Each printer has pro's and Con's but Im completely happy with HP right now!

I have a link for your first month free with HP InstaInk! Click Here to try HP InstaInk for FREE!

Xyron Review / Tutorial

I use to use the xyron sticker maker, Ive made over 100 sticker and still have paper on the roll. It comes with a roll when you buy and i got a ton of use out of it before switching to label / sticker paper! Wal-Mart (in-store) has it for the cheapest (as far as I've seen), but you can purchase it from Amazon as well. I would Google search it on there shopping search option, You never know!. I paid a few dollars for the Xyron 150 "X" (1.5 inches) on clearance, which is perfect for most things that go in my planner! There is one bigger and if I would have had the extra money at the time i would have splurged and got the Xyron Sticker Maker 5" Create - A - Sticker .

I'm a #PlannerOnABudget and it was the cheapest one so I decided to try it out.I can honestly say it was worth it before I purchased my Silhouette cutting machine!

Here are some pics of me using the Xyron mini on a Hydrate sticker sheet I got from Pinterest. They ended up being a little smaller than I liked so I made a larger one But I decided to Use these for a few weeks and I will be doing a giveaway for these pre-made stickers I did for the pics!  The Process is easy, You put the stickers you would like in the hole like the second pic, then simply pull from the opposite end. like pic 3. After you pull the sticker all the way through, pull to tear off and simply pull off the top plastic sheet. And there you have your sticker.

  1. Thanks for the post! I'm new to the Happy Planner and I really want to make my own stickers, etc. Do you recommend the HP Envy printer? I have had color printers in the past but I spent so much money on ink. I'm looking for the most cost effective printer/ink.

    1. Sorry for the late reply! but I love and recommend the hp envy, if you can go for the newer version i have the 4500 I love it but the newest one prints closer to the edge of the page so you can get more stickers out of it also its supposed to be a little better quality. I would suggest the HP instant ink and theres a link for 1st month free in the post i you can pay a few dollars monthly and they send you ink as you need it, your printer must be hooked up to wifi so it can update them when your low but its pretty good!
